A large LNG and industrial facility spread across fifteen buildings needed a single, reliable source of modelling and quantity data, one the client's team could use for verification, technical review and commercial discussions without reconstructing the picture manually from disconnected drawings.

The challenge

  • Multiple building services disciplines needed modelling and coordination across a live, operational site.
  • Existing documentation was not detailed enough to support commercial and technical sign-off with confidence.
  • Quantities needed to reconcile design intent against what had actually been built.
  • Reports and drawings had to be clear enough for non-technical stakeholders to act on.

Our approach

  • Built LOD 300 Revit models across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire fighting, laboratory gas and plant air, for all fifteen buildings.
  • Extracted structured quantity take-offs directly from the coordinated models.
  • Compared IFC quantities against as-built conditions to flag discrepancies early.
  • Marked up drawings against site cloud data and packaged everything into client-ready modelling reports.
